Today, all pages and sheets are stored and processed on independent bare metal servers in Montreal, Quebec, under Canadian and Quebec law. Data doesn't move between countries. As new regions come online through 2027, you'll be able to choose your host country at signup.
We store it so you can access it, and that's about it. We don't read your pages, sell your data, or use your writing to train AI models. Your content exists solely to serve you. When you delete something, it's permanently removed. No hidden copies, no secondary use.
Yes. Pages and sheets are saved automatically as you work, directly to our bare metal servers. There's nothing to configure and no save button to click. If you close your browser and come back later, your work will be right where you left it.
Yes. Export pages as Markdown, PDF, Word, or plain text. Export sheets as CSV. Your work is never locked into cDox.
No. By design. We believe de-big-teching starts with the open web, not more platform lock-in. That said, there are a few simple ways to make cDox feel native on any device.
Today, every page and sheet lives on independent bare metal servers in Montreal, Quebec, governed by Canadian and Quebec law. Canada is where we started, and every account currently hosts there. We're expanding to France, Germany, UK, Switzerland, and Australia through 2027. When a new region opens, you'll pick your host country at signup.
cDox offers a free tier with 50MB of storage and up to 3 public links. If you need more, Pro is available for $8/month or $70/year, unlocking 500MB and unlimited public links.
